Championship races

Off road and ultra

Off-road championship races 2025 – they are all suitable for all abilities and are friendly events:

  • Norman’s Law Hill race (Sat 29th March).
  • Newtyle Hill race (Wed 16th April).  Great wee hill race, mostly on trails. Not in Newtyle but Dunkeld!
  • Kinnoull Hill race (Thurs 15th May).  Short & fast hill race on well-marked trails: ideal introduction to hill running.
  • White Tops Hill race  (Fri 27th June) 10.4k, height 360m.  Starts in Kirkton of Auchterhouse.
  • Benarty Trail race (Sun 29th June) Lochore, Fife.
  • Falkland Hill race (Sat 26th July).
  • Templeton Trail (Sun 3rd August) Around Templeton Woods, Dundee.
  • Tom Cairn Trail race (Sun 14th September), Finzean, South Deeside.
  • Loch Kinnord Train race (Sun 12th October), Dinnet, Aberdeenshire.
  • Tentsmuir Trail race (Sun 2nd November).

Ultra Championship – all ultras are eligible for FRR club championship. Here are some suggestions:
