Luthrie Village Hall was the venue for the Fife AC organised Norman’s Law Hill Race,a 4.8 mile ascent of the 285 metre Norman’s Law on the south shores of the Firth of Tay. Starting by the roadside farm on the outskirts of Luthrie, the field was quick to string out along land-rover tracks, bridleways and open hill to the summit. The route then descended north-east with views over the Tay through rough pasture to the starting point at Luthrie.
Forfar Road Runners finishers were Ron Milne, 41m 34s (3rd Vet 60), Sarah Clark 45m 51s, Debbie Kenward 48m 38s and Liz Milne 49m 13s. There were 152 runners.
