Boxing Day Plum Pudding Plod

Entry £2 on the day, All proceeds to charity. Fancy dress welcome.
Venue: The Guide Hall at Myre Car Park, Forfar
This 2.75 mile fun run (or walk) is open to all and starts from the back of the Lochside Leisure Centre, taking an anticlockwise loop of Forfar Loch. Underfoot conditions are a mixture of grass, road and stony tracks.
The race has grown steadily over the last few years and has a regular field of around the 200 mark, ranging from elite runners to fun runners/walkers.
Christmas Puddings are awarded to adult category winners, with spot prizes for other lucky runners. Sweets, teas and coffees are available at the finish.
2018 Boxing Day Update – 273 runners which is a record. Thanks to everyone’s generosity we raised £1000 for the charity Ovacome.
2017 Boxing Day Update – this years event brought in 221 runners, the weather was fair and the course was good condition. We are delighted to announce we raised £560.84 at the event which was in aid of the Kirriemuir Scout Group minibus fund, thanks to all that supported the Plod
