The club has two main training sessions:
Monday evening at 6.45pm for speed work, hill reps or circuit training. Summer time sessions are held at Reid Park, Winter time sessions are at Market Muir.
Wednesday evening, runners leave New School Campus at 6.30pm (turn up for 6.20pm)
Sunday runs are at 8.30am from the New School Campus or 9.00am from Car Park at bottom of Rosebank Lane. There are no pre planned routes for the Sunday runs.

From New School Community Campus
3rd May – 6 mile series, Suttieside, Arrive no later than 6:50pm for a 7pm start
10th May – Market Street -> Lunanhead -> Myreside -> Left towards Antique Place -> off road to Wymes Farm -> turn Right back in Montrose Road -> turn right at Bowmans Crossing-> Myreside –Left onto Lunanhead Road and either -> Right onto the Benzil OR keep going in via Lunanhead -> Market Street 7-7 ½ miles
17th May – Jacks route, Car share 6:20pm to Linross Sign near Glamis. Approx 7 ¼
24th May – Multi Route -> Heatherstacks –> Lunanhead –> Rosies Road
-> Welton corner then down South street -> North street and back to campus
Members Club Meeting – Our next meeting will be 18th June 2017, at 7.30pm at a venue TBC (possibly West End Social OR Troopers ) . Guest Speakers will be Ron Milne and Jack Davies talking about varies race experiences.
Other dates for Members meeting are: 27th August and 26th November 2017. Feel free to suggest topics for discussion/guest speakers
Forfar Road Runners promote safe running at all times and provides members with Hi Viz Kit, which must be worn on all club night runs. It is, further more, recommended to be worn on all winter training runs. If you plan to finish your run early, or not return to the New Campus please, as a matter of safety, make other club members aware of this. If you would like to help out or host a session then let us know. During the summer when nights are lighter we have an abundance of routes in the countryside to suit all abilities. The club welcomes anyone to come along whether local, training for a run or just passing through. Training sessions also include the 6 mile series, which is part of the 10k route. Anyone is welcome to join in.
