Forfar Road Runners

Loch Ness Marathon 27th September 2015 This was my 4th time running Loch Ness and I can safely say it won’t be my last! I just love this event.

Highland Perthshire Marathon (Aberfeldy) 5th Sept. 2015 Karen Campbell This race may seem expensive at £40 ( £35 for early sign up) but it is run by local rotary and charities benefit from the proceeds.

5th September by Angie MacKenzie Karen Fletcher and I drove to Aberfeldy on Saturday. The race started at 10am but we arrived just before 9am in time to wish Karen C and Ros good luck for the Marathon event that started 9:30am.  Brian McGibbon was also running.

30th August 2015 by Lynn Henderson I entered this race thinking it would be a good idea to do another 10k but what was I thinking doing it a week after Forfar 10k!!!

The latest (all) 6 mile series so far.

Speyside Way 36.5 (but actually 37!) mile Ultra Saturday 22nd August 2015 Angie Mackenzie   Hugh and I travelled to Elgin on Friday evening to stay with relatives.

In the lead up to this run I thought Angie Mackenzie was mad when she said she was so excited for it and couldn’t wait to run it again.

This event was my 3rd out of 5 planned Ultras for 2015. It’s hard to believe that one year ago this event was my first Ultra, and now 2015’s event would be my fifth!

Forfar Road Runners had a real outing to the Lairig Ghru Ultra this year with 9 runners tackling this beautiful but technically difficult race.
